Divided across five rooms on the first floor and the mezzanine of the institution, the exhibition had its logistics carried out entirely by [Art Quality](https://artquality.com.br/) , with the participation of **Clé Reserva Contemporânea** – an extensive piece of work involving collection, packing, transport and unpacking of the artworks, carried out with the planning and the security that the artist's legacy deserves. Most of the collection was located in São Paulo. There were 10 days of collections in the city, from private collections and institutions, as well as two days of collections in Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. Before the collections, an inspection was carried out at every location to assess the artworks that would need to be packed in made-to-measure wooden crates. Part of the collection was picked up at the headquarters of the Projeto Leonilson, coordinated by the artist's family, which carries out meticulous work preserving his memory and legacy. The Art Quality team spent seven days at MASP opening the crates and unpacking the collections, while the museum's own team drew up the condition reports recording the state of each artwork. The crates will be kept at Clé Reserva Contemporânea, in a climate-controlled environment with pest control, until the end of the exhibition, when the work of collection and packing will again be carried out at the museum in order to return each item to its owners. According to MASP, “Leonilson (1957-1993) is an artist who is both central and marginal in the history of Brazilian art. Central because he is the author of a body of work that is absolutely unavoidable at the end of the 20th century, recognised in many exhibitions, books and even in tattoos. But he is also marginal because, with such a singular body of work, he does not fit easily into the movements and generations of the history of Brazilian art”. Located in the iconic building by Lina Bo Bardi on Avenida Paulista, MASP opens on Tuesdays from 10am to 8pm, and from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
