Clé hosts a technical visit from the MBA in Museum Management

The only private fine art storage facility in Brazil with international standards of security and climate control, Clé Reserva Contemporânea was chosen as one of the experiences covered by the study visits of the cohort of the MBA em Gestão de Museus e Inovação. The course is run by the Associação Brasileira de Gestão Cultural in partnership with Expomus, Unimais and Museu da Língua Portuguesa, with in-person classes in São Paulo.

The study visit to Clé was part of the module on Risk Management and Security in Museums. As well as learning about the Clé project and seeing units authorised by clients, the group had a full class at our facilities, including a presentation and discussion of various examples of fine art storage facilities in other countries.

The visit also included practical activities, such as the challenge of listing all the technical and logistical issues involved in storing an art collection at Clé. One of the aims of the course is precisely to improve the culture of heritage security in museums – and Clé follows museological standards, so much so that its clients include some of the country's leading art museums.

The MBA em Gestão de Museus e Inovação is a postgraduate course aimed at executive training focused on the management, planning and economic sustainability of museums.
