OSGEMEOS arrive in Belo Horizonte

After a successful run in Rio de Janeiro, where it had more than 833,000 visitors, the exhibition “OSGEMEOS: Nossos Segredos” is on show at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil de Belo Horizonte, in their first exhibition on Minas Gerais soil. The exhibition presents a collection of around 1,000 pieces, including canvases, sculptures and other three-dimensional creations, photographic records, drawings, sketches, audiovisual installations and even clothing belonging to the artists Gustavo and Otávio Pandolfo.

In Belo Horizonte, a module was added in tribute to Margarida Pandolfo, the twins' mother, a great supporter of their artistic career and herself an artist: her embroideries have already been shown in exhibitions in Spain and Lithuania. As well as creations based on her own drawings, she also embroiders drawings created by her sons, such as the beautiful self-portrait of the duo. The gallery “Assim Bordei Meus Sonhos”, on the ground floor of the CCBB-BH, also recreates the setting in Margarida's house where she sits to embroider while watching TV.

The CCBB BH is at Praça da Liberdade, 450, and is open every day, from 10am to 10pm, except on Tuesdays. The exhibition is in high demand, so the tip is to book your ticket in advance online, with a timed slot. Admission is free.

Before travelling on for this run, the collection of the graffiti artists Gustavo and Otávio Pandolfo was kept in storage at Clé Reserva Contemporânea since the close of the exhibition held at the Museu Oscar Niemeyer, in Curitiba.

The touring of the exhibition is organised and produced by Expomus, a Brazilian company specialising in museum cultural projects and a partner in Clé Reserva Contemporânea.
