The ARCA cultural space in São Paulo hosts SP-Arte Rotas 2025 from 27 to 31 August, a fair devoted to promoting and disseminating contemporary art from Brazil. The event will bring together around 70 curated projects from galleries and cultural institutions, turning ARCA into a meeting point for artists, critics, curators and collectors.
Curated by Rodrigo Moura – who recently took over MALBA – Museu de Arte Latino-Americana, in Buenos Aires –, the fair casts a look at Brazilian art production and stirs the market at the start of the second half of the year.
Among the highlights of the programme is the Mirante section, devoted to showing large-scale works, as well as debates with artists and curators. The fair will also have an official app to assist visitors, offering audio guides with information about the works and their creators.
SP-Arte Rotas 2025 is part of the SP-Arte circuit and will feature parallel events in cultural spaces and galleries throughout the city of São Paulo, broadening the reach of the debate on Brazilian contemporary art.
