SP-Arte 2023 begins ticket sales

The 19th edition of SP-Arte takes place this year between 29 March and 2 April, again at the Pavilhão da Bienal, in Parque do Ibirapuera, in the southern zone of São Paulo. Tickets are already on sale and this year they are being offered exclusively online, through the official event website, with a set day and time. As always, an excellent event for collectors and those interested to get to know galleries, artists and curators – as well as, of course, to admire artworks.

The fair announces that it will present a panorama of global art through the presence of more than 150 exhibitors, including art and design galleries, cultural institutions and publishers, with an emphasis on Brazilian art. The list of confirmed galleries includes Almeida & Dale, Luisa Strina, Millan, Vermelho and the international Night Gallery (USA), Nil Gallery (FRA) and Opera Gallery (FRA), among others.

Among the institutions that have confirmed their presence are MASP, Instituto Inhotim, Casa do Povo and Instituto de Arte Contemporânea.

One of this year's novelties is the opening of Casa SP-Arte in Jardins, in São Paulo, occupying a property designed by the architect Flávio de Carvalho (1899-1973) for Vila Modernista, and the only one that retains its original configuration, after restoration. It is a permanent space for holding events and exhibitions throughout the year.

The first exhibition will be a solo show dedicated to Hélio Oiticica, including the first Penetrável made by the artist.
